Normally a musician should polarise with his music – whereas jazz saxophone player Gilad Atzmon is polarising primarily due to his political opinion. And his position towards his native country Israel. With “The Whistle Blower”, he has just released album No. 14 – again joined by his band The Orient House Ensemble. In the interview with Ann Kathrin Bronner for audiophil.tv, he is talking about the similarity between Turkish and Greek music and whistle-blowing, when he will return to Israel. Enjoy!
